So what do you do when you realize you don’t have any gift tags laying around? Did you come from where gift tags were not even available? How many of you remember your mom or anyone would just write names on each gift boxes. It was just a basic “To: and From:”.
Now look around you, there’s just so much to choose from and you probably end up buying most of it. Even though we both know you won’t use everything. Then you’ll hear yourself say, “oh it’s ok, I can always use it for next year.”
So today, I am going to share and walk you through on how to make this gingerbread man gift tag. He is adorable and you can do anything you wish with him. So have your embellishments ready.
But first don’t forget to grab my free svg file in my resource library.
So you’re going to cut all the pieces with your cutting machine using my free cut files (they are in my free resource library — request and get the password at the bottom of this post).

Prepare
All of the pieces has been cut and now ready to assemble.

Step 1
Dab some glue on the gingerbread man (brown cardstock), then place it on top of the gingerbread man outline (white cardstock).
Tip: Use tweezers to help you place or hold small things.

Step 2
Use double-sided tape on cardstock, and place it on top of the other cardstock.
Tip: Using double-sided tape keeps everything flat.
Step 3
Place a mounting tape on the back of the gingerbread man, and stick it on the cardstock.
Tip: Mounting tape gives the tag a bit of a 3d look.
Step 4
Cut a piece of ribbon (any of your choice). Insert it from the back, and then tie a knot.
And that’s it! What do you think?
Isn’t he adorable? So easy and simple to make. Don’t forget to grab the free cut file and I hope that you enjoy making these. Let me know or share your creation. Happy crafting!
