Missing anyone during Christmastime? I think we all do. Whether it’s a family or a close friend. I was inspired to make this Christmas Tree Ornament Stand project and wanted to share it with you. This is just something you can place it on a shelf, your mantle or table with a matching memory ornament that you can put up of your love one. I am missing my mom and dad so much, that I wanted a special place where I can hang their photo ornament on our shelf.
So for this project, this is the first time I will be using a chipboard to cut with my Cricut Maker. And if you are interested in making this with me, you can follow along on how to make this Christmas Tree Ornament Stand. But first don’t forget to grab my free svg file in my resource library.
Watch the video tutorial on my YouTube channel.
So you’re going to cut the two pieces with your cutting machine using my free cut files (they are in my free resource library — request and get the password at the bottom of this post).

Once you’ve downloaded the image. You will need to upload it in Design Space.
Resize it to your liking and just click “Make It”.
Prep
– Place the chipboard onto the cutting mat.
– Put painters tape on both sides, top and bottom to keep the chipboard from moving.
– Move the star wheels from the cutting machine.
– Insert the knife blade on Slot B.
– Load the cutting mat onto the cutting machine and press start.
Once the chipboard has been cut with your cutting machine.

Carefully remove the chipboard away from the mat.

You will insert the tree-trunk into the hole of the other piece for it to stand. And that’s it.
Tip: You can add some glue between the base and the tree-trunk for stability. You can also paint nor decorate it to your liking.

Simple, right? I just love how this turned out. It is not perfect but I thought it cut out beautifully. And that is how you make your own Christmas Tree Ornament Stand.

What size did you make this so the tree fits neatly into the stand?
